Pub with restaurant, open fires, cosy, traditional, good food, make sure you check the ferry times if you are visiting from Fowey. There is also a Lugger in Fowey, so don't confuse the two.

We had a great meal here of locally caught fish. Can get busy so recommend booking. You can park up just outside Polruan, go for a walk along the coastal path with stunning views of the sea and of Fowey across the estuary, eat at the Lugger Inn, take the ferry across to Fowey avoiding all the parking problems, see Fowey and then come back on the ferry to Polruan and walk back through the village to your car.

This is the best pub a village could have! Great atmosphere and delicious food. We promise, you won’t be disappointed. But you will need to book a table. Dog friendly, muddy boot friendly!
