There are trash bins on the back porch. However, the smell of trash in the bins can attract bears. Yes, bears. The town transfer station/recycling center is open Friday, Saturday, and Wednesday from 8am to 4pm AND on Sunday from 8am to 11am. *You MUST have the town guest pass on display on your car dashboard in order to leave trash/recycling at the transfer station. * Recyclables MUST be separated from regular trash- see instructions posted on the wall in the kitchen, above recycling bin. Directions: - turn left out of driveway -turn right onto Bean Rd - just past town beach, turn left onto Mill Bridge Rd - bear right at the fork, stay on Mill Bridge Rd until it ends -bear left onto Holderness Rd/Route 113 - within a mile the Sandwich recycling Facility will be on the right.
