If you're here on a Monday and Trinosophes isn't open, then check out Germack. They have a wide variety of coffee and tea options as well as a nice assortment of baked goods from some of Detroit's favorite bakery and pastry shops.

Attractive shop with great staff, located in one of the coolest areas of Detroit. Grab a coldbrew and roam the streets looking at murals and shopping from local vendors. They keep the cafe pretty well air conditioned, so if you're staying put, bring a sweatshirt. Light food and baked goods available but nothing too substantial.

A good place to stop for coffee while shopping in Eastern Market. They also have a great selection of tea, spices, and of course, their famous pistachios.
