Located inside the beautiful DIA, the decor is breathtaking and it's an excuse to get yourself inside the Institute. Spend a day at the DIA and get lunch here, read a book, drink a coffe or sip some wine.

Literally my favorite restaurant in the city. Sliders of a wide variety and very reasonably priced. Great cocktails and the staff is friendly and efficient.

Attractive shop with great staff, located in one of the coolest areas of Detroit. Grab a coldbrew and roam the streets looking at murals and shopping from local vendors. They keep the cafe pretty well air conditioned, so if you're staying put, bring a sweatshirt. Light food and baked goods available but nothing too substantial.

The pizza is amazing. I'm not a big beer connoisseur but their brew is tasty and local, which is enough for me! Easily walking distance, just down the alley. Staff is friendly and the music is always good!

This is a favorite place to get food late at night or brunch on weekends. It's not a "high-end" place, but the food is good, inexpensive, and the walk is brief but long enough to stretch your legs.
