A great place to buy Emma Bridgewater pottery at factory priced seconds or first quality in the gift shop. You may also like to purchase unfired pottery and personalise it by painting your own design in the decorating studio (along with a pot of tea from the café). They will then glaze and fire it so you can treasure it for generations to come. This makes a lovely gift or a nice memento from your trip to the Potteries and is a relaxing way to while away a rainy afternoon. I would advise you do it early on in your stay to give them a few days to fire the pottery (so you can pick it up before you leave - they can also post it out to you too). It's located just minutes away from your accommodation and also has a cafe & restaurant if you fancy a coffee and to work on your laptop (they have WiFi). They also offer factory tours which last 45 minutes. Open Mon-Sat 9.30am - 5.30pm and Sunday 10am - 4.00pm. Tel 01782 201328

The Emma Bridgewater factory and shop. Emma has brought pottery making in Stoke-on-Trent back to the forefront. The factory tour is fantastic and you can buy lovely gifts from the shop.
