Across the lagoon bridge there’s a second fish market. If you can stagger out of bed at 6am, it’s a good place to watch much bigger fishing boats return with their catches.

Large amount of fish is being brought here and you are able to see how brought straightly from the sea (specific times). How Fishes are cut to different sizes. At this same place you are able to see dry fish industry. Amazing experience.

a must visit if you are in negombo ,gain insight in to daily life of fishermen .lot of activities going in and around the market.you can see the returning boats with their daily catch. large area of the beach is used for drying up fish.
