Semaphore jetty is a perfect place for a stroll and a great spot to enjoy the stunning sunsets and view of the foreshore- this is particularly pretty during the summer carnival as the lights from the sideshows illuminate the sky in the evening.

This is Mary's favourite seaside area in Adelaide as she lived here as a teenager. Not as well known as Glenelg, this beach area is great for families and has a more quiet but welcoming feel to its main street area. There are cafes and restaurants plus parking is more readily available. The nearby Port area is interesting to visit too.
