Across from the Monastery of Cimiez , this garden is a vast olive grove with a wonderful view over the city. You will also find the Matisse Museum and Roman ruins nearby, interesting to visit.

Take number 17 bus from outside Gare Nice Ville up the hill to this tranquil church. Don't forget to wonder arounthe cemetery to see the understated resting place of Matisse and his wife.

The Monastery has a lovely garden with vibrant planting & great views of the bay and the city below you. There is a park and the Matisse Museum is within a few minutes walk.
