Musical events and theatre happen in a grand setting, wonderful wood construction. CBC hosts musical events that are broadcast in Canada.

There is a classical music series called Almonte in Concert, and a folk music series called Folkus that runs in the fall and winter. You can also find little theatre productions and self-produced indie bands of all genres. There is an info board right outside the Old Town Hall. You can see the building out of several of Thoburn Lofts many windows - it's a magnificent piece of architecture, and you can walk to it in about two minutes. In summer, out front to the right of the building there are also bicycles you can get for free just for asking. There is also a tourist info booth there staffed by helpful students in the summer.
