MATSUO TAISHA SHRINE (Open 5:00 - 18:00, free admission, special garden - 500 yen) A famous shrine built in 701 and is known for its connections with Sake. There is a sacred well known as Kame no I located in the shrine, where sake brewers used to take water to brew their sake.
