Spanish filmmaker Ventura Pons rescued this theater in 2014 and converted it into an oasis of independent film. They show second-run films at a serious bargain. Most tickets cost only €3. And I love that the movies are VOSC, which means, “original version subtitled in Catalan.” The lines can get long, so go early to be sure you get a seat.

Recently selected as the best movie theater in Europe, does not surprise me. All films are only 3€, yes 3€ every single day of the week.
