This park has paved pathways, picnic areas and hiking trails that run along the Salmon River. They have a fish viewing window and you can see the salmon spawning in the river sometimes. There's an interesting topographical map that shows the area really well.

This is a great place to spend the day in a well-maintained forest park with paved trails, a large beach for river swimming, many picnic areas along the trails, a below-water-line fish viewing room, restrooms, and plentiful parking. There's also a walking bridge that takes you over the river and onto a series of boardwalks that go through wetlands. This is a day-use recreation area with a booth at the entrance to purchase day and annual passes. Closes at sunset.
