Manatees love to hang out in these warm waters once the temperature starts to drop. Great place to view them for free!

FREE. Seasonal, Nov. - April 15. During cooler weather manatees are drawn to the warmer water created by the steam from the Tampa Electric plant. 2 nice boardwalks for viewing.

Watch dozens of Florida Manatees enjoying the warm waters generated by the TECO power plant on Tampa Bay. A beautiful example of nature and industry living in harmony! A kid and family favorite!

This is a rare chance during a few short months of the year to see manatees! You can even have a chance to pet a stingray...and it's all free.

“Aside from having the best catered view on the Tampa Bay, they also serve great food. There is a tiki bat outside with a grill type menu and inside you can treat yourself to more of a fine dining experience. ”
