Great wine merchant. House wine is fab for a bottle to enjoy at home or visit the courtyard for a bottle outside. I love it here.

You won't find a better selection of wines. Very historic family run business which has a wonderful wine cellar.

Frequently voted the best independent wine store in the UK, Tanners is well worth a visit. The cellars were used in the filming of the 1983 production of Scrooge. Recently they have opened a retail shop fronting onto Wyle Cop, and a lovely courtyard at the back where you can sit and have a glass of wine.
