As the name suggests, this integrated art complex in the trendy Omotesando district is built around a floating spiral ramp that links various floors and exhibition spaces. The modern facade is befitting of its contemporary art exhibitions, which make creative use of the ramp and are very accessible. You get an especially cool view of the ramp from the Spiral Cafe inside.

A nice architecture with spiral srope to 2nd floor. Everytime has a exhibition in there. Also highly recommend their shops, cafe and restaurants. I like graduation shows hosted in every March.

[design shop] Pritzker Prize-winning architect Fumihiko Maki designed this Aoyama landmark, which was completed in 1985. There is an excellent design shop on the second floor.
