The historic Garrison House is positioned at the centre of Millport Town it is also the heart of this small community. The Garrison is owned and run by the community CCDC.

The Garrison faces Newton Beach, it==inside you will find the Library, 2 museums, craft shop and an excellent cafe, just taken over by new owners. Outside on the grounds of the Garrison you will find, places to sit and relax or have a kick about on a full size 5 a side Astro turf. In the summer there is a small children fair with bouncy castles and roundabout. All summer events rotate around the Garrison and its grounds.

Built in 1745 and refurbished in 2000. Tourist information, cafe, small museum and craft stalls. Model Railway in huts in the Garrison grounds.
