The West Seattle Junction (the core of which is along California Ave. between Genessee & Edmunds St.) is the 'downtown' of West Seattle, with tons of restaurants, boutiques, and shopping. Some on Sundays for the weekly Farmer's Market which sets up down the middle of California Ave.!)

West Seattle hosts a Farmers Market on Sundays from 10-2. You can buy local fruits, vegetables, and flowers! On the other days or evenings, you can enjoy restaurants and shops. If you love pie, try Ala Mode. The marion berry slice is phenomenal!

California Avenue and Alaska St is the epicenter of West Seattle called "The Junction." There are cute boutiques, bars, pubs, restaurants and lots of gift shops and fun, local shopping.
