This amazing dessert shop is located in an ancient building in the heart of Borgo Pio, just next to the Piazza del Catalone. The dessert shop is known for house-made ice creams that are prepared from fresh ingredients without the use of any preservatives, dyes, xanthan gum or alginates.

This is a great gelateria in the shade of the Vatican cupolone. Found in the quaint Borgo Pio street, Hedera welcomes its visitors in a white, old-fashioned décor. Their philosophy is to ban all the chemical products and half-processed ingredients and use only fresh and natural ones. Better is locally-sourced and organic. Every day they prepare only 6 creamy flavors and 6 fruit sorbets. Quality is the key to their gelato. Hedera is definitely a lovely stop to round off a long day spent visiting the Vatican.
