Good for walking there are four identified trails . There are also links to Game of Thrones as the park doubles as the haunted forest in the opening season . Fans will also recognise the woodland where Nightwalkers were spotted and the Direwolf pups were found .

This is 10 minutes drive .Scenic river walks. Game of Thrones film location. Tollymore Centre ..sporting activities.

The forest has four walk trails signposted by different colours. The Shimna River flows through the forest adding to its reputation for being a superb place for a picnic. There are many features including many follies, such as a barn dressed to resemble a church, gothic style gate arches and stone cones atop gate piers.

Again heading in to the beautiful Mourne Mountains. A most beautiful park and setting for another game of Thrones filming location. When you get there and start walking the trails. 15 munites by car from the accommodation.
