Just outside the doorstep you will find a big park and recreation area popular among residents. This is a great area for a jog or a morning walk. I recommend a walk on top of the hill where you will find a great view over the city!

Near the northern end of the Torshovdalen valley you find HEAD N.N., a giant enlargement of a classic doll head which artist Marianne Heske bought at flea market in Paris in 1971. The bronze sculpture is seven metres tall, and next to it is a small amphitheatre. Its a beautiful place with a great view of Oslo.

This park is one of Oslo's largest with generous amounts of open space and a view of the City center and the fjord and its islands.

Green lung right next to the aparment. Great for a stroll, a quick run or to hang out on summer nights.
