The best way to view the famous backs of the colleges. A trip on a punt along the river Cam is entertaining, interesting and enjoyable way to see 'The Backs'. Either chauffeured or... even better punt yourself; most people get the hang of it after a few practise manoeuvres!

On a warm summers day, you can not beat lying back and relaxing whilst you are punted past kings college, glass of wine in hand! You can hire smaller punts if you want to give it a go yourself, I did it when I was 18 and ended up having to dive into the Camb to retrieve my pole! Cambridge is roughly an hour and a half drive from the lodge, but worth it for a full day out.
