Barshaw Park has is a good place to walk around with children or dogs, there are good tarmac paths and a pond, there is also a great new play area for children that has recently been built.

Great place for families. Swings etc for the children and, in the summer, miniature railway for the children. The pond is used by miniature boat enthusiasts. Small coffee shop.
