This restaurant is in Rancho Mirage which is about 10ish minutes away from Casa Agave. We are putting it on this list because it is a classic. Fine dining with a vintage feel. Definitely dress up a bit. The Rat Pack ate here. Presidents have eaten here. Dover Sole, Omaha Filet of Beef, classic Wedge Salad, Rack of Lamb, etc.

It's an old school desert institution and the contemporary California cuisine that Exec Chef Pascal Lallemand whips up is pretty spectacular. It's a little more formal--after all it's where the elite of the desert meet, you might be sitting next to a star--but the food is terrific. Reservations are recommended.
