It's a beautiful place, the main entrance is down on the other side of the hill from the grand hillside view. See the lovely gardens and unique benches, pick wild strawberries or dance to free music or enjoy magic shows or nighttime movies in the amphitheater behind the library in summer, or visit the ice sculpture carving contest in winter. Across the street is the hillside known as Harbor Park, great spot for photos, sitting with coffee, picnic lunches or catching the fireworks with the crowd during the 4th of July or Windjammer weekend.

Also includes a Children's Library on the lower level. Great hands on activities especially for the youngsters. DVD check out too!
