Igreja dos Grilos began to be built in the sixteenth century, but was not finished until the eighteenth century. It has practically bare walls, exposing the large amount of stones that make up the church. If you wish you can visit the museum of sacred art and it is a pleasant walk. Upstairs there are several rooms with high stone ceilings in which statues of saints, religious jewelery and liturgical objects are displayed.
