This is the best Char Koay Kak in Penang. Recently awareded with Michelin Bib award. It is a stir fried reddish cake dish with black soy sauce and chili, top with bean sprout and eggs. They have been operate since 1963. This dish has always been my favorite since I was young and still loving it until today. They operate from 7AM - 12.30PM on Saturday and Sunday for now as one of the sister is undergoing operation and there isn't enough manpower to cater the crowd. There isn't any specific rest day but they might close from time to time. My personal favorite way of ordering this is: 1. Stir fried longer 2. Chopping it into smaller bits 3. Extra egg (Standard order is only 1 egg) 4. Extra spicy (A MUST IF YOU LOVE SPICY) 5. No bean sprout (I personally feel the bean sprout changed the taste)

One of the famous street food stall and it is a MUST for food hunter! They only sell on morning till afternoon around 2pm. Pls do go earlier as possible as seat is limited.
