The Catalina Flyer takes you to Catalina Island. You can do it as a one day tour that leaves in the morning and comes back around 5:30 pm. Great experience, great snorkeling off the island.

If you want to do a day trip to Catalina Island this is the place. 75 minute boat ride gets you to catalina, and it is amazing. Every once in a while you can get a groupon for $39 round trip. Definitely worth it.
