Great shop , cafe, gardens and walks around the estate , you can picnic in the grounds and on certain days take a guided tour , just a 5 minute drive away

Sizergh Castle and Garden is a stately home and garden at Helsington in the English county of Cumbria, about 4 miles south of Kendal. Located in historic Westmorland, the castle, a grade I listed building, is in the care of the National Trust along with its garden and estate. They have guided walks around the estate.

This National Trust property is just off the A5 90 not long after leaving the M6 – perfect for visiting en route to High Lowscales or on the way home! Low Sizergh Barn has a nice farm shop and café.
