Known as Sunset Point and popular gathering spot for locals at sunset. Public parking can be found behind Siesta Market. Walk down Avenida Messina from Ocean Blvd to where it dead ends at the beach. There is no parking at the beach, only 1 handicap spot and a bike rack. You'll find a flag pole erected on an old breaker installed by the US Army Corp of Engineers to help secure the beach sand along Siesta Key. Locals host a ceremony just before sunset every evening lowering the flag and honoring veterans. A must do, at least once.

Parking is tuff but amazing.

Rated one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Great for the entire family. Parking can be challenging during peak season. Go early!
