On the North of the Black Isle in Balblair is this newly renovated church made into an interesting visitors attraction highlighting historic graveyard stones found here with unknown artwork.

This is not at DIngwall, unhelpful of Airbnb - it is actually between Newhall and Balblair on the coastal road and has recently been beautifully restored. It is a tiny church full of information about the local area, and is on the side of the RSPB wader bird site of the Cromarty Firth. You can walk along the beach to the left of Kirkmichael which is likely to be deserted and enjoy fresh sea air, probably a good strong breeze and a seaside walk in glorious isolation! I love it!
