The stunning walk up and along the Cat's Back is a big favorite. Park at Black Hill car park, walk up onto the ridge and follow it all the way to the trig point. The walk offers incredible views down the Olchon valley and over to Offers Dyke. Dress for all weathers as it can change quickly and in winter can be chilly and breezy! On the way home stop for great food and a pint at the bridge Inn in Michaelchurch Escley.

About an half hour drive from us. This car park is at the far end of The Cats Back. It starts very steep but once on the ridge you are rewarded with the most amazing views. The Cats Back runs parallel with The Offas Dyke on the ridge to the left.Once you hit the trig, head left and then after a while a sharp left before heading down the side of the hill into the Olcan Valley. Once you are back on the road head uphill to the car park. About a 5 mile walk in all.

Park here and walk up black hill to take in the highest point in Hereford shire and the stunning views that go with it. By no means a tricky walk, but you'll be out of breath getting to the ridge line. Couldn't recommend this walk more highly.
