Beautiful hiking year round. Exit off i80 at Donner Pass Road and hike to the summit. Visit the world famous Donner tunnels and the lollipop tree!

When weather allows (it is closed during large snowstorms) take the scenic drive down old 40 / Donner Pass road, along Donner Lake and into Truckee. Great views and history!

Anytime of year in Truckee / Tahoe Donner Summit is a beautiful view. Winter ski touring, skiing, sledding. Summer hiking. Lots to explore. Take a walk through the old train trestle.
