Hiking on a maintained trail. Moose and possible bear encouters here be preparred to react appropriately. Viewing platfroms for dall sheep and mountian goats. Trail maps available here. 20 min from Cozy!

There are too many trials, hikes, and peaks to list in Chugach! If you are looking for a quick day hike, overnight hike, or casual stroll that still feels like you're out in the wilderness, please ask! Paved paths to backcountry camping, we've done it all.

The book "50 Hikes in the Chugach" is perfect for exploring the amazing hikes right in Anchorage's back yard. I've got a copy in the room you can borrow while you stay with me, and I can tell you all my favorite hikes depending on how long you want to hike for and the level of difficulty you are seeking. The park is so big and has so much to offer - we love it!
