Housed in the oldest commercial bldg in Franklin (1808)...this vintage, cozy, old-school book shop is a great way to slow it down and a must see! Joel, the owner, is passionate about this "labor of love" book store and is knowledgeable about the local history/lore of this area.

The owners, Joel and Carroll are loved by locals including author Karen Kingsbury who has written several best selling books that have been turned into Hallmark Channel movies! Kingsbury wrote the book The Bridge which was inspired by bookshop owners Joel and Carroll. The book went on to be one of New York Time’s best sellers and was turned into a Hallmark movie.

First and signed editions of mostly Southern literature, antique books - a true treasure!! (PS They'll usually let you in after hours and give you a glass of wine - just be sure to buy a book if they do!)
