ANOTHER LOCAL MUSEUM WORTH VISITING This small museum has free entry and is open to the public from 2pm to 5pm, Tuesday to Sunday, and other times by appointment. Situated between the city's Administration Centre and the library on the corner of Bagot and Rokeby Roads, Subiaco. The Subiaco Museum has a collection of several thousand objects, documents and photographs, all of which have at least a part of their history in Subiaco. Some items relate to the area's Aboriginal people, while others were brought to Subiaco by settlers from Europe and Asia. Some have a history of several generations in Subiaco. Interpretive displays and special exhibitions are available for public viewing changing on a regular basis. Thematic displays of items from the collection are shown in the museum's four galleries and hallway - also in the Subiaco Library and the corridor to the left of the city's Administration Centre reception desk
