Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is a destination for travelers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. With beautiful recreational hiking trails, Wasaga Beach boasts incredible views and plenty of nature’s wildlife just waiting to be discovered by visitors eager to explore! Peaceful walking paths give way into great scenery as you hike through sand dunes and remnants left behind by ancient glaciers. In winter, cross-country skiing on snowy forest trails creates an enchanting winter wonderland that cannot be forgotten once seen. Refer to the Ontario Parks Nordic Trails Map for all park trails. The popular cross-province Ganaraska Trail (running from Port Hope, to Collingwood and Midland) also runs through the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.
