Perfect if you want to take a nature hike. A 5-10 min drive away Shingle Creek Trail runs parallel to Shingle Creek the headwaters of Lake Okeechobee. Visitors walk under a canopy of trees making it pleasurable even during our Summer months. The Trail is also ideal for BMX or Trail bikes with bridges and other features. Please check hours and remember to wear bug spray.

Great place to see wildlife. Bald eagles, birds of prey and alligators are easy to find.
