They offer hot and cold mezze – hummus, cacik and dolma for the latter, sucuk sausage, calamari and fire roasted king prawn for the former – to begin, but the main event is the charcoal grill. Saray have kebabs, but they couldn’t be further from the standard elephant leg: these are kofte, minced meat with herbs, or shish, skewered meat exposed to flames and cooked to perfection. There is seafood too, and more than enough vegetarian options to keep you going
