This place is a must see if you like swimming, snorkeling and even scuba diving! This is a privately owned & managed swimming park which is open to the public on a first come, first served basis. The water is blue and crystal clear if you get there when it opens. As the day progresses, the water becomes more clouded. Get there about 20 min. before opening because there will be a line of cars already there waiting. They assign you a spot on check-in and it is yours for the day. It includes a covered picnic table and parking for 2 vehicles. Pack you cooler, folding chairs, floats,...and go have some fun.

They say you can find the clearest water in Texas at the Blue Lagoon, just a little little over a mile north of Rosenwald Acres. The water there is highly visible, making it perfect for swimming and scuba diving and you can tan, swim antic scuba lessons if you choose to do so. It’s even open Sundays until 6 PM.

This place is seriously right down the road!!! It is what magazines live for for cover photos! Take your floaties, lunches, coolers, and enjoy the crystal clear waters!

Great local area that people use to get PADI certified. Visit the website to get more info on entrance costs.

If you want to see the best blue water near Houston you should definitely visit Blue Lagoon in Huntsville. It is 40 min away and you have to arrive early to be able to get in. Better to try on week day.
