A beautiful restaurant about 5 minutes south of the south entrance to Mt. Lassen. If you're up for the 50-minute drive or plan to visit Lassen anyway, definitely have a meal here. Family friendly, suitable for all diets (call ahead to confirm vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options) and reasonably priced with a kids' menu too. Reservations accepted on Open Table. Full bar and space for kids to run around outside on the grass.

If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion or visit a gorgeous ranch Highlands is absolutely beautiful. Ranch Resort, Bar and dining.

"The Ranch" is a 15 minute drive from Mineral. The building is new and more upscale than The Lodge in Mineral. The Ranch makes great steaks and cocktails.
