Cole is one of the few legendary coffee institutions that have kept up their quality and remain relevant. There are a few choice seats that fill up quick, but if you’re willing to hang around for a minute, you’ll probably have a table by the time your order shows up. They have an espresso bar, but I come here for the pour-overs in a pint glass. On the weekends, it’s the poached eggs on toast that keep me coming back.

Coffee is OK but the outdoor seating area is super hip. Great place to sit and people watch or do some work in the heart of the bustling Rockridge.

Really great coffee! You can also buy your own beans here too. and, poached eggs on thick slabs of French bread with butter - and pastries from La Farine down the block.
