Also check the schedule at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts to see what shows are in town during your stay. The Manetti museum and Mondavi center are next to each other. You will drove right past them in you exit I-80 at the UC Davis exit instead of the Richards Blvd/Downtown exit.

This *free* museum opened recently and has many interesting and often interactive exhibitions. Be sure to check the website in advance for opening hours.

Opened in 2016 at the University of California, Davis. The museum’s porous, light-filled Grand Canopy design is itself a work of art. A recent exposition included John Cage’s first participatory composition, “33 1/3,” which debuted at U.C. Davis in 1969.
