The Luchtsingel is a wooden walkway that connects several areas around Central Station, Blaak Station and former train station Hofplein: De Hofbogen. Inspired by The High Line in NY, the Hofbogen is one of those new, projects that add to the city's flair. Restaurants, shops and creative businesses situated underneath a former railroad track.

The Luchtsingel connects Rotterdam North to the centre and revitalizes a forgotten area. This part of the city did not count for years and was dominated by vacancy and neglection. With the realization of the Luchtsingel they reconnect the Central Station, North and between North and Binnenrotte. Besides that the Luchtsingel is a catalyst for economic growth, and nowadays the best nightlife area of Rotterdam! The city could crowd fund the bridge by buying a plank of wood to build it!
