Just outside of Langebaan - yet still overlooking the gorgeous Langebaan lagoon - is the well-known West Coast National Park. Part of SANParks, the West Coast National Park is home to a host of wonderful, natural attractions. Perhaps the most noteworthy attraction is the beautiful wildflowers that are so indigenous to the West Coast and only bloom for a very limited time between August and September. Other attractions include a lovely restaurant, picnic and braai facilities and several hiking trails.

Definitely worth a day trip, the breathtaking lagoon nestled in the heart of this beautiful national park will make you think your somewhere on the Mediterranean paradise.
