Ok, its just a general store, but its really cute, and a great place for lunch, dinner or to pick up hiking snacks, beer, wine, whatever, and its a great scenic drive from Lyle. You can get to Glenwood through White Salmon, or via Klickitat on Hwy 142. This is a great destination in itself or a stop over en route to the Ice Caves in Trout lake. Plus, the owner, Claude McKenzie is a childhood friend and an awesome guy. His mom, Alicia is typically cooking in the back. Go say hello! You might even get a glimpse of Sasquatch ;)

Take a step back in time to when small business meant "small" business. The store is owned and operated by "Claude" who I am sure has a last name, but no one seems to know or care! :-) He cooks great food Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! They even have spirits! Glenwoodgeneralstore.com
