This is the old Dubai with beautiful original and restored old buildings. It's filled with cultural art exhibits, coffee museum & cafe, souvenir stores, spices, perfumes, cultural information/experience centre. This is a MUST-DO for any visitors interested in history/culture of the city of Dubai. It is also referred to as Al Fahidi Fort District by some.

This is the oldest part of Dubai, here you can see the old ports and souk. You can shop and have lunch as well as see the old museum and even take a boat across to the gold souk. Nice to see the old style that Dubai started with,

The tiny Bastakiya quarter is Dubai’s most engaging neighborhood. Established at the end of the 19th century by well-to-do textile and pearl traders from Bastak, Iran, its labyrinthine lanes are lined with restored merchant’s houses, art galleries, cafés, and boutique hotels.
