Shangri-La Projects is a record label that grew out of and split off from the Shangri-la Record store and released several of the seminal records of the early 90's Memphis indie scene. It also manufactured and distributed records for the Sugar Ditch label among others. So, visit the store for its history, or its occasional live music, or some of the treasures to be found in the bargain bin.

Shangri La is run by locals. If you're in town for Memphis music, it's a must.
