Great view over Hay from the top and cool shops and curiosities - not every town has its own castle!

Hay on Wye is known as 'The home of books' with over 1000 books for sale per person! Recently renovated the castle is well worth a visit. We visited on a Thursday when the market is in town. Lots of local producers and gifts.

Hay Castle is being renovated and will be a wonderful landmark for our area, with a gallery, museum and as a location for music. Rich in history. Fabulous views.
