A historic park and a great place to get out and see some of the beautiful country. The last battle of the civil war was fought here, the battlefield is incredible and there's a lot to learn and see... We love to take our dogs on the many miles of trails. Pack a picnic.

Another Civil War spot. Look for it if you're into history. There is a large boardwalk that overlooks the marshy delta waters.

Located just 2.5 miles from our location, Blakeley State Park sits on 2,000 acres with over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails. There are markers located throughout this Civil War area which take you on a self guided tour of the last battle of the Civil War. Check out their website for current cruise times on the Tensaw River.
