Our local vineyard, Tempe Creek, is a stop along the Sam Houston Wine Trail. They have all sorts of special events, concerts, and family movies throughout the summer. It's a fun place to visit and enjoy the flavors of East Texas!

Tempe Creek Vineyard & Farm is a new addition to the area that has quickly become one of the go-to weekend meet up places for locals. This is a winery, vineyard, and event venue. They are a member of the Sam Houston Wine Trail, but guests do not have to be on the trail to have a good time. This is a family owned farm that has more than just animals to meet and picnic tables to enjoy the outdoors. They have a variety of wines and snacks that make it a perfect place to relax. There will even be “glamping” available soon. Grab a glass of White, Red, frozen Rose, or even just a chartcuterie board for the table. There’s no way to order wrong at this place. Keep an eye on their social media and our calendar to get a heads up for the fun events they host like painting classes and movie nights. They even let people book private events and fundraisers sometimes.

Great for both families or groups of all adults! Pack a picnic or buy a charcuterie tray from the vineyard. Check the website for events happening on weekends. Kids will love feeding the live animals and playing in the wide open spaces. Adults will love the wine selection and views!
